Yesterday they revealed the wax figures of Kate Middleton and Prince William and I gotta say they got it spot on, they look so beautifully done and very realistic.
It costed more than $230,000 each and took a team of artist four months to complete. Kate’s hair alone took six weeks and was crafted from thousands of strands of human hair. LOVE IT
I can’t wait; Kuwait is going to be the next destination for an ice structure. After the successful launch of the Magic Ice Museum in Turkey, Kuwait got inspired to do the same but instead of a museum they want to do it inside a hotel.
In an interview with the Hurriyet daily newspaper they have said “We would like to simulate a regular hotel room with a bed, tables and chairs,” Olsen said. “No hotel may become rich because it has an ice room. Still, it might gain prestige.”
The existing turkish Ice Museum is located in the Forum Istanbul shopping mall, and has had 500,000 visitors since its launch in April 2010. The Viking-themed facility uses 370,000 tonnes of ice and requires 1,000 ‘ice glasses’ daily for its accompanying bar.
